A growing shelf. Each title carries its own world and genre — starting with the series that began it all.
A trilogy of conjure and circuitry: a circle of women, the house they keep, and the ancestral intelligence built to protect them. One bloodline, two continents, one sentinel.
New books — in other worlds and other genres — will appear here as they’re written. Join the newsletter to hear first.
The gold “Enter the Companion App” button now opens The Thelma Codex companion app at thelmacodex.com. Each future book can get its own card in this section.
Veada Denys is a Texas-based writer whose work explores African diasporic spirituality, Afrofuturism, and artificial intelligence. She has written poetry and short fiction since middle school and performed spoken word in Houston for several years. Descended from a lineage of conjure practitioners, she approaches spirituality as cultural inheritance rather than religious authority.
After twenty years in Information Technology, she is now completing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship at Lamar University. The Book of Sura: Circuit & Conjure is her debut novel.
